A great achievement by Sussex and Worthing players in the Kent Open.

The final was contested by  Kevin Tunstall and Nigel Senior. Kevin coming out victorious. Better still was that Kevin overcame Dave France in the Semi- Final and  Richard Wooton, Chris Reeves, Ian Lelliott and Gareth Lloyd all reaching the Quarter Final stage. In fact Sussex had 7 of the last 8 and 10 of the last 16.

This surely shows the strength of Sussex Bar Billiards, and especially around Worthing and Brighton, despite a decline in the number of teams.

The Opens are a great day out and a definite way to improve your game playing against the best, prehaps we have under 25`s or those over 50/60 who would like a day out in Reading playing the national events of these competitions. The dates are 23rd/30th November respectively, so why not test yourself and give it a go.
