The next events are the Chris Cass 4 x 4 team event in Sudbury on Saturday 30th August and the Division 1 County Championships on 14th September at the Totteridge Community Centre.
Sussex AGM 12th August 25
The AGM was held on Tuesday 12th August July 2025 at Burgess Hill Constitutional Club. There was one rule change, which will be published with the new rules and sent out with the inter league packs. There will be a C side from Brighton in both the Home and Away and One Day Inter League which is good news.
The Sussex A and B sides were selected to play in the County Championships on the 14th September at Totteridge Community Centre and the team captains will be contacting those selected.
Watney Mann 25
This competition is underway and we have our 1st finalist the May Pole who won their game against the Alexandra 6 - 5 with a deciding leg needed after the 2 teams finished level at 5 a piece.
In the other semi final the Henty beat Stags Head B 7 - 3. The final has been arranged for Thursday 21st and 28th August 25. The winning team from the final will go forward to represent Sussex in the Team Championships at Totteridge Club on 12th October.
The 1st leg the final was played at the Henty on Thursday 21st August 25 and resulted in a 3 - 2 win for the Henty. The Maypole went 2 - 0 up but a good fight back from the home side leaves the final nicely poised. The 2nd leg will be on Wednesday 3rd September 25.
Worthing Summer League
Was won by James Whittle who beat Rick Cunningham 2 - 0 in the final at DWMC, At the same venue Phil Oakley beat Tash Light 2 - 0 in the 3rd and 4th place play off,
In the plate final, which was played at Tarring Club in a round robimn format, Matt Jones drew 1 - 1 wtih Chris Lucas but got the extra point for the aggregate win. Matt then beat Pete Hickman 2 - 0 and Chris also beat Pete 2 - 0. Meaning Matt took the win ending on 5 points, Chris had 4 points and Pete 0 points.

Worthing Performance 2024 to 2025
Premier Performance was won by Nigel Senior and the 1st Division by Dave Ingram.
Nigel and Dave also lead the Masters Lists for their respective competition. The Masters and Off The Spot is scheduled to be played over the weekend of 8th and 9th November 25 with details to be confirmed ASAP. The A Masters will be contested by the top available 16 players and the B Masters will be contested by the top 8 available players.
