AEBBA Alternate Rules and Special Ladies
The AEBBA BIOC Ladies was won by Pauline Withey who beat Anita Blackman in the final.
The AEBBA Alternate Rules was won by Mark Trafford who beat Matt Jones in the final. The Plate was won by Nigel Senior who beat Jean Brackenridge in the final.
A well run day with the tables all offering different challenges

Sussex Open.
The Sussex Open was held at Roffey Club, Horsham and was won by Nigel Senior, completing the double for the weekend (having won the Sussex Masters on Saturday) , beating Bucks Matt Jones in the final. The Plate was won by John Slee (Redhill and Billingshurst) who beat Stuart Mepham in the final.

Guernsey Doubles and Open
Held over the weekend of 3rd and 4th May 2025 at the Kings Premier Health Club, St Peter Port.
The doubles winners were Bob Hall and Phil Osborne who beat Trevor Gallienne and Kerry Tottie in the final.The Plate was won by Martin Cole and Matt Knight overcoming Nigel Senior and Michelle Baden in the final.
The Ladies Open was won by Lorraine Hall beating Jenny Noel in the Final. The Plate was won by Emma Noel who beat Sandra Hall in the final.
The Open was won by Michael Wilson who beat Curt Driver in the final. The Plate was won by Kevin Tunstall beating Nigel Senior in the final.

AEBBA
The AEBBA is the national body for bar billiards with most leagues affiliating to them and playing under their rules.
The AEBBA supports the game nationally and locally, from longstanding leagues in Sussex and Oxfordshire to new and vibrant leagues in Nottinghamshire and York – and we can help you get involved. We work hard to support local activities and events. We can put you in touch with your local league or county association as well as participating in our own events.
Compete against the best – There are numerous opportunities for you to play against the very best from around the country. There are numerous events that take place throughout the year and vary in number of players, entry criteria and target audience. We balance the traditional and the innovative to encourage new players – that is at the very heart of everything we do. We want to ensure that this fantastic game is available for generations to come.

County Opens
These are run by the individual counties and entry is open to all. There are at the moment the West Sussex Open, the Surrey Open, the Kent Open, the Sussex Open, the Oxon Open and the Bucks Open,
There is also a singles and doubles weekend event held in both Guernsey and Jersey with entry open to all.
WBBA
There is also the World Bar Billiards Alliance which holds events during the year with competitions that cater for players of all abilities and you are matched against players of similar standards and also there are team events.

4 Pin Bar Billiards
Another version of the game of bar billiards is 4 pin with leagues in various areas of the country, such as Sudbury and Norfolk.
Sudbury hold a World 4 Pin Open and team events that are open to all to enter. There is a 4 pin league in Hastings, Sussex and also an inter area event held at the Inn On The Green, Ockley.
